The Board of Directors meet at 9:30am on the third Wednesday of the month. Meetings are held at the Homeless Prevention Council office at 14 Old Tote Road, Orleans. Help us fill backpacks for students returning to public school in September. Teachers provide the list of required items and donors purchase or donate money for the items. Contact Maureen (508-255-9667 X 13) to volunteer for this great program which helps nearly 200 students annually.
This holiday season program provides wish list items to nearly 250 qualifying families annually. Donors "adopt a family" and purchase the clothing and toy items requested. Office receptionists are the front line greeters at HPC. They greet clients and visitors who stop in personally or who call on the phone. Training is provided for the phone system. Contact Maggi (508-255-9667 X 11) to learn more and to volunteer.
