Our Programs

In addition to our case management services and collaborative programs, HPC maintains programs to improve the lives of the homeless and near homeless of Lower Cape Cod: (for our fundraisers and events, see our events section)

Gift Card Program: Year-round

 

Gift cards work just like cash at many area grocery and drug stores.  

For every dollar spent from a gift card, the store

donates 5% to the Homeless Prevention Council.

 

 

 

 

Backpack-to-School: July - September

The Backpack-to-School program (in 2011 in its 10th year)

outfits our local children with the supplies required by the schools. Generous donations of cash and product allow HPC to provide and

fill back packs, giving these children a wonderful head start to the school year.

 

 

 

Adopt-A-Family: October - December

The Adopt-A-Family program continues to be a warm and wonderful

success. Families with children who are most in need are paired

with people and businesses who want to give them a happier holiday.

The donors receive the first names of their child/children and their holiday wishes.
