How You Can Help

The fight against homelessness takes time, energy and resources, and we can't do it alone. We need your help! If you're interested in volunteering for Interfaith we'd love to talk to you. We currently have long-term volunteer opportunities open if you'd like a weekly or bi-monthly position. Or if you'd rather help with one-time events we have short-term positions open as well.

We're also in need of donors! Interfaith relies on the financial support of individuals for the majority of our budget. Although the eight towns through their Human service budgets, supplies Interfaith with some financial allocations, we do not accept nor apply for State or Federal funding. Accepting money from the State or Federal government would prevent us from assisting clients who work therefore, do not meet the Federal and State Poverty Guidelines. These cases are often referred to as the "Working Poor". Our ability to respond to community needs is dependant on donor dollars. If you would like to donate online you can do so through justgive.org, or you can send a check to:

Interfaith Council
PO Box 828
Orleans MA 02653

In addition to cash donations, we're always in need of skilled shoppers for our adopt-a-family and backpack-to-school programs. With your assistance we can give families a happier holiday and back to school season!
