Adopt a Family
Giving the Gift of HopeThe Adopt-A-Family Program, originally, suggested by Interfaith's supporters ten years ago, is bigger than ever. This Holiday Season 135 families with over 300 children are in need of clothes and gifts. With more families in need this year than ever before, there has never been a better time to get involved and help families in our community who are in need of your caring and generosity. What can we, at Interfaith, do to help you as a Donor, help your neighbor? How It Works Our case managers select families in need and pair them with community members and organizations who want to provide gifts for them. Although our clients' full names and records are completely confidential, we can offer first names, ages of children, and share their gift wish lists. After these families are "adopted", it's up to the donor to decide what they'd like to give. Once the gifts have been purchased, drop off no later than Tuesday ,December 12, 2006, at Interfaith Council. You can call Interfaith for directions to our office, Monday thru Friday 9:30 to 4:pm. Accomodations can be made if these drop off hours are not possible for you. If your life gets to busy, you can send a cash donation and our volunteers will do the shopping. Interfaith is in need of donors! If you would like to help, please contact us.
