are working together to provide low-income people on the Cape with affordable and reliable transportation.

Homeless Prevention Council, which used to be called the Interfaith Council for the Homeless, is a non-profit agency established in 1991.

Homeless Prevention Council offers free comprehensive professional services for those at who are homeless or who are at risk of being homeless in the eight towns of the Lower Cape.

Homeless Prevention Council services are aimed at empowering people to overcome barriers to financial stability, such as transportation.

Other services Homeless Prevention Council offer include food, financial counseling, and guidance on obtaining help from private and governmental institutions.

Founded 1996, Good News Garage has been a national leader in addressing transpor tation barriers of low-income work ing people.

Good News Garage accepts and repairs donated cars, trucks and vans in New England.

West Main Auto of Hyannis, MA will assist the partnership in this effort.
